THE BROWN HOUSE | OUR HOME
The Genealogical Society is located at 71 Macon Street in McDonough, Georgia, about 35 miles southeast of Atlanta off I-75 South. It is housed in the 1826 home of Andrew McBride, a Revolutionary War Patriot. The house, which is now known as the Brown House, was once a hotel owned by the Brown family and is among the oldest-surviving buildings in Henry County. It has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1991. We are located about two blocks from the Henry County Courthouse and the town square.

71 Macon Street, McDonough, Georgia in the historic Brown House. ACCESS Members of the Society may use the Library for free. Non-members may use the Library for $10 per visit. |
